and a SURPRISE GUEST
America waited while President Obama, a Democrat House and Senate promised us to “focus like a laser beam” on the economy and instead pushed through the $1.93 trillion Healthcare Law on a partisan vote in the middle of a recession. Three and a half years later we are still asking – “Where are the jobs?” A lower unemployment rate means nothing when job seekers are walking away HOPELESS.
Racine Tea Party PAC will be hosting the Road to Recovery Rally – It’s AboutJobs on Saturday October 27th. We want to shine a spotlight on the truly important issues facing our state and nation today; such as the lack of jobs, gas/energy prices, the need for a strong defense and governments out of control spending. Our goal is to engage the faithful, while reaching out to those undecided voters by providing them facts and motivation to come down off of the fence.

Wisconsin Forward =>
Saturday June 2
10 AM Gorney Park
8201 Nicholson Road Caledonia WI
The event will feature Congressman Paul Ryan, Breitbart.com and CNN contributor Dana Loesch, All Patriots Media – Tony Katz, the “rock star of radio” Wisconsin’s own – Vicki McKenna, PA Tea Party Activist & Fox News Contributor – Jenn Stefano, State Senator – Van Wanggaard, and more. Invited guests include Lt Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, and several very big surprise guests.
Over three years ago Racine Tea Party was formed by a group of people who had never met before, but shared a common concern. We all feared for the future of this country and knew we could stay silent no more. Those concerns are still valid today and our goal of constitutionally limited government, spending controls and debt reduction has not changed. We have tried our best to educate and advocate for these issues, and up until now we have been a loosely formed group that has partnered with other organizations to host events.
Numerous times during elections, Racine TEA has been contacted by voters seeking to learn who the conservative on the ballot is, especially for school, county, and village boards. Due to campaign finance and election laws, we could not respond accordingly. In fact, sometimes we felt like we were fighting with one hand tied behind our back!
Racine TEA Party would like to announce that very recently we have made a big change – we formed a Political Action Committee (PAC). The reason for this is quite simple: we need to utilize every tool available to us, including the ability to say “VOTE FOR GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER; VOTE FOR LT. GOVERNOR REBECCA KLEEFISCH; VOTE FOR STATE SENATOR VAN WANGGAARD”.
On June 2nd in Racine County, we will be doing exactly that. Please save the date…details coming soon!
We have been waiting 3 years to hold this event!
Tax Day 2012 is HERE!
Join us on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at the State Capitol for our annual Tax Day Rally. We have a formidable line-up of conservative leaders that will help us send the message that we want less government, lower taxes, and economic freedom.
Some of the best and brightest voices for freedom will be addressing the crowd. Come to hear Dana Loesch of BigJournalism.com, Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit, Stephen Kruiser of PJTV.com and Nashville Recording Artist, Krista Branch.
Register for the event now by clicking here.
We need to send a strong message to the politicians in Madison and Washington that we are unified and want to put our country on the path to prosperity. Wisconsin is in the spotlight, and a strong showing on Tax Day will send a message across the country.
Buses from around the state (including Racine) will be transporting patriots to the rally and there will be remote parking at the Alliant Energy Center on John Nolen Drive for $6 with free shuttles running every 15 minutes to the event.
We are moving our facebook group to a page (to be able to link to our website). Please like the new Page

Were you tired of seeing all of the recallers,
wherever you went over the holiday season?
Racine TEA Party and other conservatives will POP up at the southeast corner of Washington Ave. (Highway 20) and Green Bay Rd. (Highway 31) in Racine
this Sunday, February 19th at 1:30 pm.
We will gather in the adjacent parking lot, and spread out North, South, East, and West to line the roads with signs showing support for WI budget reforms, and all of those elected officials who stand for lower taxes, smaller government, and individual liberty! Please bring your old signs or make new ones while being as creative as you can. Dress warm as we will be standing outside for about an hour.

Balanced Budget Forum
Wednesday, November 9th
7:00 pm
South Hills Country Club
Featured Speaker: Congressman Paul Ryan
The one issue that ignited the tea party movement was out of control government spending. Three years later, we are still saying STOP THE SPENDING! The debt debate is coming to a head soon, with the super committee “solution” due November 23rd.
Please join Congressman Paul Ryan on Wednesday 11/9 for a candid discussion on how to cut the debt, cap spending, and why a balanced budget amendment is essential to accomplishing these goals. Additional speakers and details TBA.
Racine TEA Party is ready to gear up for the next round of perpetual politics. We have survived almost 3 years of the failed policies of the Obama Administration, and we can finally say November 2012 is almost here!
But first….it looks like there will be more recalls. The TEA Party worked behind the scenes to keep the right balance in the State Supreme Court and a conservative majority in the State Senate. We rallied in Feburary to Stand with Scott Walker, and we will rally to keep the electorate informed in 2012! There is work that must be done; we can not rest until we’ve won!
Happy Independence Day!!!
This is a follow-up email to yesterday’s request to walk with the FireFighter float “Parkway Church Youth 9-11 Memorial”. The parade committee is stating that the public can not walk with the float and although it’s not listed on the parade rules page, we will be respectful of the purpose of this symbol of remembrance of our fallen heroes. Since the release of the story in the Milwaukee Journal (links at bottom), people of all stripes are coming together in support of this beautiful tribute. Below is our plan for Monday July 4th:
- 8:30AM Out of towners meet at Pilot Travel Center Hwy I-94 & Hwy K Exit 329
- We will lead a caravan to Gould and Main Street area to park (parade map link below) – this is start of parade route
- 9:00AM meet at start of parade route – anyone there earlier start lining both sides of the street
- If you have any 9-11 memory items, shirts etc… please wear them
- We will give a huge send off to the 9-11 Memory float!
- BREAKING: THE FLOAT WILL BE BACK AT THE ZOO IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PARADE FOR THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO VIEW IT UP CLOSE (FIREFIGHTER MATT GORNIAK WILL BE THERE AS WELL)
- ONLY UNIFORMED ACTIVE & RETIRED FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE OR MILITARY MAY WALK WITH THE FLOAT. NO POLITICAL SIGNS OR CLOTHING ALLOWED – PER PARADE COMMITTEE
We hope you join Vicki McKenna and us on Monday!

Wisconsin’s future is at a critical turning point. Years of fiscal irresponsibility and unsustainable government spending has put our state in great turmoil. But who will decide our future? Voters such as yourself or self-serving union bosses?
Governor Walker has taken the courageous first step in addressing this grave problem through his common-sense budget reforms. Much is at stake and we must to win. We must stand with Governor Walker to ensure the future of our children and grandchildren is not riddled with debt and unemployment.
First stop on this four day tour is tomorrow, Thursday March 3rd 9AM:

Nancy Milholland, of the Racine TEA Party gave the following speech:
Conservatives!!! Tea Party, Reagan Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, Republicans
Conservatives…all of us…we are here together to show support to what we know is RIGHT to save our state.
TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already…and we are.
Our Governor Scott Walker gets that!
He understands that he works for all of the taxpayers of WI!
For this I would like to say, thank you Scott Walker. Thank you Scott!!!!
I have been concerned about our Wisconsin. For years now, we have watched as businesses and jobs walked away from our great state.
Everyone here today believes that Wisconsin is in a fiscal crisis!
So to some of those in the media and you know who you are…today we have some news for you!
Stop trying to promote the lie telling us Governor Walker created this crisis.
It’s about time that you know, you are dealing with a new class of voters and we take pride in paying attention, becoming informed and educating others on the FACTS.
There is plenty of information and data, pointing to the budgetary disaster long before Scott Walker even won the primary election.
So with all due respect, PLEASE KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE PROPGANGDA CAMPAINS ALREADY!! They are no longer working.
Wisconsin citizens don’t need anymore misguided policies that take more and more of our money to find new ways to run more and more of our lives.
We need to support ways that keep taxes lower, spending under control, and freedom at a maximum.
We’re tired of politicians who don’t do what they say they are going to do and who have forgotten why and who selected them to serve.
Scott Walker’s Budget Repair Bill tells us that he has kept that in mind and he is keeping his promises to us. Thank you Scott Walker! Thank you Scott!
This is not about me, this is not about you…this is about us.
The Budget Repair bill is bad tasting, but much needed medicine.
The alternative would be poison for thousands of state workers, the taxpayers, and the economic climate in this state.
It’s time FOR US to take the cure and get back to a healthy Wisconsin.

ACTION ALERT! – 1/11/11
PHOTO VOTER ID
We have a new governor and a new legislature in Wisconsin. NOW is the time to pass election reform legislation and it can be done and signed into law before the April 5th election. Time is of the essence!
CALL YOUR ASSEMBLY REPRESENTATIVE
AND STATE SENATOR TODAY!
- Ask them to co-sponsor the Photo Voter I.D. Bill
- Urge leadership to schedule joint hearings of both the Senate and the Assembly to expedite the Photo Voter I.D. Bill.
- Make it clear to your legislators that you want to have Photo Voter I.D. in place by April 5, 2011.
- Explain that other election reforms need to be proposed and passed as soon as possible, but it is important to implement Photo I.D. NOW!
Why the Rush?
In order to have Photo Voter ID in place for the spring elections, the bill must be passed and signed into law by Governor Scott Walker by February 15th. Time must be allotted for the required 30-day public posting of the bill and to give municipalities time to implement it and comply. The spring elections are very important for the State Supreme Court and local races, and the 2012 Presidential primary is only a year away. Now is a perfect time to bring Photo Voter I.D. to Wisconsin.
YOU MUST ACT NOW – CALL TODAY
If you do not know the phone # of your legislators you may call the Legislative Hotline:

The Racine TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party was formed by a group of upset taxpayers that saw where we were headed as a country and said ‘we have had enough!’ We followed the lead of other groups from around the nation and had our 1st TEA’d Off Party on Saturday, April 18, 2009 where just over 300 people came out to express their outrage over the growing government taxation at all levels. Our second event on January 16th, 2010 had over 4,000 in attendance.
