Vote in Tuesday 2/15 Primary – It is Important!
PLEASE VOTE ON TUESDAY 2/15 AND 4/5
The race for Wisconsin Supreme Court is non-partisan. There are 4 candidates running for the seat currently held by Judge Randy Prosser. This means you may end up with 2 liberals to choose from in April if we conservatives stay home on Tuesday.
Other races of interest include the City of Racine Mayoral primary. Voter turnout is expected to be 10%, so it is critical we get to the polls on Tuesday!

WALKER, JOHNSON, DAVIS LEAD TEA PARTY ACTIVIST SURVEY
An on-line survey of southeastern Wisconsin TEA party activists show strong support for gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker and United States Senate candidate Ron Johnson. Also topping their fields included State Representative Brett Davis (R-Oregon), a candidate for lieutenant governor; Scott Feldt, a candidate for state treasurer, David King, a candidate for Secretary of State and J.B. Van Hollen, incumbent running for WI State Attorney General.
The survey was emailed to approximately 3,000 activists who had attended TEA party events or were previously identified as community activists. A total of 1,462 responses were received at the end of the ten day survey period between August 10th and August 19th from individual IP addresses. (See results page 2)
“We conducted this survey as an opportunity to get an idea of where the thousands of folks who have been attending events or active in their community view the elections right now” said Racine Tea Party spokesperson Nancy Milholland. We’re excited with the number of responses which confirm what we hear everyday; that interest in the November election is building”. Milholland added that the Racine Tea Party has not and will not endorse individual candidates as a group.
The Racine Tea Party also just announced they are sponsoring a “Tribute and Town Hall” event Saturday, September 11 at Pershing Park in downtown Racine; featuring keynote speaker Congressman Paul Ryan, the ranking member of the Budget Committee in the House of Representatives. The event will focus on the economy, jobs, and the national debt. Niger Innis a national spokesperson for The Congress of Racial Equality (C.O.R.E.) will also address the participants on the dire effects of global warming proposals.

Americans for Prosperity State Director will announce “November is Coming” campaign at Tax-Day Taxpayer Tea Party (Milwaukee) – Whether lawmakers like it or not, November is Coming! And on Tax Day, April 15th, they will be hearing it directly from the people of Wisconsin. The State Director of Americans for Prosperity, Mark Block says taxpayers can’t be ignored anymore. “On the anniversary of the largest Taxpayer Tea Party held on the steps of the State Capitol, we are launching the “November is Coming” campaign to highlight the explosion of the Tea Party movement in Wisconsin,” said Mark Block, State Director of Americans for Prosperity. “The enormous growth of activists from all across the state exemplifies the mood across the country, “said Block. We are highlighting local leaders from communities all across our great state as they are the ones who have helped to mobilize an army of individuals who will no longer sit back and let government trample their rights and destroy their economic futures. They are the ones who have continually helped us to send the message to our legislators that “Enough is Enough” and “November is Coming.” The Tax-Day Taxpayer Tea Party will be attended by activists from across Wisconsin, many of whom who will then head back to their local areas to lead their own Tea Party gathering. “Our activists are tireless and dedicated,” said Block. “We invite people from every corner of our state to come to Madison on April 15 to hear their stories and to join with us as we let our government officials know we will not take it anymore and that we want legislators who will actually listen to the citizens.” Thursday, April 15th, 2010 11:30 am – 1:00 pm Wisconsin State Capitol King Street Side of Capitol Madison, WI Announced Speakers: Additional Speakers to be announced |
